Seeing the abandoned Six Flags in New Orleans reminds me of DandeLion Park, an amusement park in the small town where I grew up. Closed when I was three years old, the decaying skeletal remains of the Tail Spin towered over Janesville Ave until finally being demolished in 1983, six years later.
